Hey all,
I'm new to this message board, so I wish you all hello. And I am glad there's a place where us chronic pain paitents can share their ideas. Anyway my question is has anybody noticed any problems with the new generic "Endo"
Oxycontin? I have been perscribed the 40 mg and it seems that since I've switched to the generics my stomach has been more upset "heartburn" than normal and they don't seem to kick in like the non-generic ones. I believe that the bigger generics take longer to break up in your system. I don't have any proof of this though at the end of the day it seems like I have heartburn and am taking more of my protonix for that. Isn't there another smaller generic on the market and does anybody know which pharmacy has it?

Hey rogo,
I was switched to Endocet after being on Roxicet for 1 1/2 yrs.--the Endo didn't work as well and upset my stomach. A nurse told me it's a filler in Endo for coating the stomach that I was reacting to. After taking Endo for a month...and calling to complain and whine every week, they finally let me go back to Roxicet, which I think is a VERY good generic Percocet. Check out WebMD or similar drug sites to see if you can find a similar generic. Good luck.
