Difference in other(not methadone) generics??? (Pain Management board)

31st May 2005
For percocet I do find that 'endocet' by Endo phams is a much better product than the mallinkrodt which I belive just has a 512 imprint. And even better than the endocet, in my opinion, are the Roxane version called Roxicet, which I think says 54/543 on it. And those are all 5mg oxycodone/apap. And lets see...malinkdrodt's vicodin suck (the M358, M360, etc.) but the 'norco' version of hydrocodone is better. Looks to me like anything put out solely by Malinkdrodt is just the cheapest of the cheap. When possible, I try and get all my generics by 'Roxane Pharms'. They make a generic for the following pain managment type drugs or controlled substances...

-Halcion
-Valium
-Xanax
-Ativan
-Percocet
-Methadone
-Morphine IR
-Tylox
-Dilaudid
-Codeine
-Demerol

And some of them come in pill form and oral liquids

Well, in Malinkrodts defense, I was on Oramoprh, which I'm not sure if roxane makes that or Elan or aaipharms...it's a confusing mess, but I could only afford the Malindrodt version and it worked quite well. Infact better than this one brand I had once (a little green pill 30mg's) couldn't find out the manuf., but it was deff. some offbeat pharm company.
