Whenever I get percocet, I make sure the pharmacist gives brand name instead of generics. It seems that actual percocet is a bit stronger than the generic varieties. I once recieved a bad batch of the drug, it made me feel really dizzy and sick, so I complained and the pharmacy had recieved other complaints. That particular generic was Roxicet. Even if that was a fluke, I've been scared away from generics when it comes to pain medicine.
