I am sorry to hear about your situation. I am new here, and have 2 postings I put up this morning See NEW INFO and SMOKING and BACK PAIN. My username is edthehead. I find a lot of compassionate people here and a lot of usefull information also. We seem to live in a different world than most people, but as my wife says every day, it could be worse. I had a PLIF on 11-06-02. L2-L5. I have some failed fusion. I have been up since 3:00 am, and lack of sleep is the norm for me now, even taking 2 Baclofen a day. I take 3-4 Roxicet a day. I try to take the least as possible.
