chickened out on surgery twice and went the pain management route 4 years now i also have had seiries of 3 injections twice now only got short term relief 4 to 5 days but i treasure any pain free days i can get everyone is different and it does work for some long termin the meantime i am on 15mg roxicodone 4 x day and 5 mgs roxicet for breakthru pain when needed if theres anything i can answer for you just give me a post

I don't blame you for chickening out from surgery twice. Surgeries are scary! :(

I am currently on my last Duragesic 50 pain patch since my Dr. is upping it to 75 as soon as I get it in the mail as Drs are not allowed to call these into the Pharmacy. I am also on Darvocet N-100 650 mg 1 pill every 6 hrs but since 1 doesn't help, I take it in 2's and that doesn't help much either but the Dr. won't let me take more or give me a different med :( I don't know if the Pain Clinic Dr. will do it, all he said is that if the Back Specalist Dr. wants to stop calling the Darv into the Pharmacy & mailing in my patch scripts then he (PC Dr.) will take over and do it and when that time comes, I hope he'll change the meds.
