Hi Feelbad & DFroman! Thank you both so much for your kind words. After taking the pain meds, it kills the pain but leaves me so tired and low when they wear off--like it's a false sense of well-being. I think they're interfering with the Celexa and Risperdal that I take so I'm changing to just Tylenol or Ibuprofen. My stomach has been sensitive anyway with a bit of reflux and passing some bile, so perhaps less is more. I've got Pepcid to take also, so I think I need to go the safer route. I know I'm in recovery and I hate to appear stupid, but does this crummy feeling when the pills wear off, mean I'm "dope sick"? Am I worrying needlessly? I have a ton of anxiety in general and get panicky thinking that I have to relive addiction again. I will say a prayer that I'll be okay in the long run. I feel so much better when I only have to take a small amount of meds, even on a daily basis. I only started taking the Celexa and Risperdal two weeks ago because my doctor thought I needed it with all the angst I had prior to the surgery. I find that the Celexa is kind of agitating, so perhaps when I see my pdoc in a week or two he can either adjust it or change it. Once again, thanks so much for hearing me out--I am such a wreck!!
