Everyone has to learn to control their emotions, anger is just one of them. I know you're talking about rage, an extreme form of anger. I too suffer from bouts of uncontrolled anger or rage. I take [SIZE="4"][COLOR="Red"]Risperdal (generic name: Risperidone--I put another name here yesterday, but it was incorrect; sorry for the confusion); it is very difficult to get out of control when you're on it.
You should also attend anger management courses and learn as much as possible about anger and how to control it without using drugs.
Furthermore, I highly recommend the following audio CD: [SIZE="4"][COLOR="Red"] "Don't Bite the Hook: Finding Freedom from Anger, Resentment, and Other Destructive Emotions" by [COLOR="Red"][SIZE="4"]Pema Chodron. Pema is a Buddhist nun who runs a Buddhist monastery in Nova Scotia, Canada. She is a Wise Woman. Most book stores will be able to special order this CD.
Don't be put off by her religion--she's really able to explain things so that even a layman can understand what she's talking about.
