So decongestants give you more pnd. Do nasal spray like rhinocort do the same thing. Since I started rhinocort, seems like more and more pnd but still nose is stuffy. I stopped antihistamines today. Was drying me out so much, this Claritin. Did nothing for me


When I lie down to sleep now, I have to constantly get up. Feels like something touching back of my throat.
Could it be the lump feeling in my throat. One my friend said today maybe I need tonsils removed. I read posts here about that, wow, not pleasant recovery. I'm not young teen anymore so can be quite painful. When I saw both my doctors, they examine my throat, said no infection and mention nothing about tonsils. Never have sore throat much, or fever. So paranoid that I am sticking a stick and looking down my throat with flashlight all day. :eek:

Sorry about long post complaining something relatively minor compared to some of you.

Decongestants don't "give you more" PND they allow all the gunk that is stuck up there to get out. Rhinocort does the same thing. But the only way to get rid of PND is to get all that stuff out. So don't stop using them.
