I'm just curious, I read alot of people talking about Ambian. Is that like a tranquilizer or is it an actual sleep aid like Restoril?

Ambien is a prescription hypnotic only to be taken at bedtime. Zolpidem Tartrate is what it chemically is. It differs from Restoril because Restoril is a benzodiazepine. I have found Ambien only mentally addictive, but of course the benzos are addictive mentally and physically is used for too long. Hope this helps ya.
