I have tried mobic for joint pain unrelated to my spine (although I had started having back problems then, but had no clue why and didnt have it checked for several years). I didn't help me at the time and I had to stop taking it because my eyelids swelled up so bad I could hardly see. Same thing happened to me with Relafen. I was actually on Celebrex for 2 months when my last bout of sciatca started and it didnt stop any of the nerve pain, that's for sure. Nothing touched my sciatic pain, not even painkillers. But every drug works & effects everyone differently. If you think you're having bad effects from the Mobic, then you should probably stop taking it & discuss it with your doctor. You might also want to ask your Pharmacist about the side effects and if it's possible for Mobic to cause what you're having. Pharmacists would know about meds more than the doctor.
