anyone had arthoscoptic surgery on their knee? (Arthritis board)

29th October 2003
I had arthroscopy done on my knee this past February, and it never has been totally right. It took a LONG time to heal from it, probably about a month. It recently started hurting just as bad as it did before the surgery...my orthopedic surgeon wrote it off as being a touch of arthritis, and prescribed Relafen. Didn't do a bit of good, and the pain was becoming unbearable. He then prescribed Bextra, which has been a Godsend. Only problem is, my insurance won't cover it...and it is REALLY expensive. I hope you don't have the same experience I am having.
