Hi Cris,
I have OA and I was about 43 when it really got me down good. I was on Relafen for 1&1/2 years and it stopped working after that so I quit taking it. After that I started taking Naproxin off and on and now my Nephrologist told me that I can't have any more nsaids as they are trying to determine if I have a kidney problem. At that time,I didn't realize that the nsaids were hard on my kidneys and I sure didn't want to become dependent on pain pills. I did try to get disability when it first happened, but when I filed I had waited too long after I had quit work and I didn't want to get a lawyer to fight it b/c my arthritis had gone into remission. Good luck to you!
