Thanks Vanessa. I am both short of breath and I have chest tightness. I hyperventilate at least once a day. It is all GERD related because my vagus nerve got infected. I am praying it eventually goes away and that this is all a distant memory soon.

Have you been to many gastroenterologists and had many tests done? I have been on Nexium, Protonix and Zegerid. I am now on Zegerid again with Reglan for the gastroparesis.

Are you short of breath all day long or just periods of the day? I started out being just short of breath during brief periods of the day but now it is all day long. That is what scares me......I don't want it to get any worse.
