I'm new to the forum but unfortunately not new to the acid reflux and Gerd:(
Now it's been over 2 years I'v been on various PPI's etc.
Lots of tests done with the latest called stomach emptying studies, which showed some delaying and therefore might be the underlying cause of my
acids backing up etc. I was put on Motilium for quicker emptying (not available in
USA, only online )It's like Reglan, but without side effects. Btw, I used to take Reglan and had very bad side effects, mostly anxiousness.
Now I'm starting a new regimen which includes Protonix in the morning (before breafast) and Zegarid before dinner time with Motilium 3 times daily.
Just wonder if anybody tried a similar combination?

NO, but have used both zegerid and protonix, they work pretty good..

I was prescribed protonix and nexium in the same day. I hated the reglan. Bad side effects and made me a zombie. A nervous/anxious zombie.

Thank you Charla, so you are still taking that combo (protonix and nexium)?
How do you feel now?
As far as nervous/anxious zombie I can totally relate to this LOL
I always thought you can be anxious or zombie, but taking stupid reglan
proofed me wrong that you can actually be both.
Kind of like you are really tired on a long plane ride but can't fall in sleep either.
