Hi,
I have the same sensations with the throat, infact I have a constant sore area part way down on the left side. I always sleep on my left side so am thinking it must be the acid ' pooling ' at night thats the cause.
Some years ago my Dr gave me inhalers for asthma, because of this breathlessness. ( Didn't help at all )
I have found that if I make my self cough, once the mucus starts moving... my breathing is easier.
But I am constantly wanting to swallow.
I took PPI's for several years, including Nexium...... then went back onto Ranitidine 150mg twice a day.
Since Christmas I haven't taken any, and to be honest theres not much difference with the reflux.
I have to watch what I eat and drink, the smallest lapse and a gastritis will start.
