I have been diagnosed with LPR by my new ENT. He wants me to take PPIs but I have had bad side effects when I took them before. Now I'm taking ranitidine but I still have the throat symptoms. I can't feel the acid actually coming up but it seems like it iis always there. Mine is worse at night although I've read LPR is usually worse during the day.
How does it affect you all??? Is yours worse at night or day????
I use a special toothpaste and mouthwash with oxygen for bad breath. This really helps.

When you say "it seems like it is always there. Do you mean you feel something in your throat? That is what I feel. It feels like saliva, but I am wondering if it is acid.
