Sounds more like gastric reflux causing indigestion. Try taking an antacid (e.g. ranitidine) to see if that helps. If it does then there's your answer. Heart related pains tend to be quite severe and crushing and often radiate to the left arm/neck/jaw. Few people with gallstones/inflammation develop symtoms. If they do its usually mid to right sided abdominal pain often just under the ribcage, gnawing in character and tends to come and go. Good luck. Eamon
