Hi everyone
I have had very mild asthma for 11 years now after a bout of pneumonia and have only had to use my reliever inhaler now and again over that time.
However, about 8 months ago, my chest started to tighten on a regular basis and I started to cough all the time. I have been on pulmicort two puffs, morning and night, but still have to use my blue inhaler. Is it ok to up the dosage to three puffs morning and night when I am feeling worse?
Also why is my asthma worse at night time. Is it because I am lying down? I try and prop myself up with pillows but it doesn't help.
Maybe it is allergies from my bedding, do these anti allergy pillows etc really work?
Does anyone suffer from tingling lips when their chest is tight and what does this mean?
I am sorry to ask so many questions but all this is very scary stuff and terrifies the life out of me! Any replies greatly appreciated.
Take care.
