Elevated WBC for a year (General Health board)

8th July 2008
I have been to several doctors this past year complaining of muscle and joint pain, fatigue, weakness and pure exhaustion. It's been must worse since I gave birth to my daughter last year but I have actually been on Provigil since 2000 in order to be able to drive safely but I'm still extremely tired. The Provigil just keeps we wake enough to drive safely. (And yes, I've had 2 sleep tests and DO NOT have narcolepsy or sleep apnea.)

But I'm tired of being on a drug without any explaination of what's wrong. I want some answers. So on a hunch, I went back to all the doctors this past year and had them fax me copies of my CBCs and labs.

Everything is within normal ranges (including TSH at 1.6) but my WBC has been high on every single CBC. Four doctors (different specialities), four CBCs and all four with WBCs 11.1 and higher.

Could this pattern of high WBCs indicate something? What should I do now? None of the doctors have given me any answers.
