I am finally going to get off Clonazepam after about a couple years of being on it. I have been taking 1mg a night for about 2 years. The effect has worn off and I have been wanting to go off it for so long but have been scared because of the WD effects. My Dr told me she wants me to take .50mg every night for 7 nights. Then go down to .25 a night until I see her next (Oct 6th) and then we will see how I am doing. I am also going to be taking a med called Propranolol to help reduce the WD symptoms (hope that works). Have any of you had any luck getting off this med? I shouldn't even ask this, cause I need to go off what my Dr has said, but do you think this is a good way to go off of it? If you have any horror stories, I think it's best not to share them with me. My mind is *way* to powerful and I don't need to hear that right now. Just lookin' for support, please. This has been a long journey and I am ready to drop these meds down the drain. To any of you that are on it right now, don't get me wrong, its a great med (does wonders) ... probably even kept me alive some days ... But now its time to let go. Any help (support) is appreciated. Thanks everyone!
