Has anyone out there experienced any type of hair loss while taking lisinipril, the generic for prinivil? Also dizziness and fatigue? I have been taking 40 mg per day for three and one half years.

I was taking lisinopril (zestril) for over 6 or 7 yrs. I noticed muscle weakness, dizziness and yes fatigue. Liscinopril is a very powerful medicine, it does its job well. When i was on lisinopril my bp was 117/70-72. But everybody can't take ace inhibitors. Lisinopril also caused a horrible cough. I was taken off lisinopril and put on an ARB, avapro. Avapro caused swelling of my face, lips and legs. It also caused an itching fest. I was taken off that also. Now I just take verapamil and hctz, which is not helping my bp. Good luck to u.
