I've just recently been diagnosed with papilledema, and this is the only thread I could find to revive on the subject. I have no symptoms at all, and it was discovered during a routine eye exam. I just recently took a deep scan head MRI (which I may have messed up due to my claustrophobia), and I was told by one of my eye doctor's assistants that the main cause of papilledema is a brain tumor. Is this true?

On a side note, I was on the oral steroid Prednisone for quite some time a few years back, and my blood pressure is high so I'm on prinivil. I'm also on cellcept, and an aspirin everyday. I'm on all these as a treatment for a nephritis I have. I was just wondering if anybody could give me some more information on this papilledema situation.
