Orthotricyclen was a nightmare for my 16 year old. Some people love it and clear right up. The problem with them is that no one pill is going to work the same for all people. You kind of have to experiment with it and don't expect miracles. The pill cleared me up in one week when I took it 30 years ago. It truly was a miracle for me, but it was a very high estrogen pill and had bad side effects. I think it was Ortho Novum but I'm not sure. Then I went on Premarin and it helped too but also made me sick.
