I was on Statins (Atorvastatin, Simvastatin and Pravastatin) but after muscle weakness, abdominal pains and memory loss on all the statins I was put on it has been decided that statins and me don't mix :)

I was then put on Ezetimibe in January this year but I think they may have now started to display side affects. Namely minor stomach pain on awakening, dry skin on my face, ears and scalp as well as red patches around my nose and eyes and also hive like welts in the corner of one eye...

I take the drug last thing at night and awake with the problems. The stomach pain goes away soon after getting up but my skin problems are always worse first thing in the morning but do get a little better during the day only to reappear the next morning. Coincidence?

Anyway I stopped using Ezetimibe yesterday to see if I can wake up without stomach pains and no skin problems and this morning no stomach pains and my skin has gotten better not worse........
