They gave me plavix 75 mg again when I was having a lot of angina that they thought might be from small blockages. I am already taking: Atenolol 100mg, Flecainide 200mg, Plendil 100mg, Aspirin 81mg, Nitro patch 0.8mg/hr, Zetia 10mg, Celebrex 400mg, and T#3 as needed.
They said when ever I was ready for another Cath they would do, it but that one of my main problems is what is pushing on the arteries from the outside not on the inside, and they can only do so much. Besides they said the Cath can not help small arteries.
The plavix really helped the angina, so I postponed the Cath until it stopped helping.
I read the articles about Plavix and the new one about Celebrex and aspirin also and decided to stop taking the aspirin until I see my Cardiologist next month. It said it does help people that have bad heart disease.
