Hi, I have a history of migraines and seizures... My neurologist told me that in my case there is a definite link between the two....

I take Dilantin (phenytoin) for the epilepsy and have been seizure free for a number of years. I take a beta blocker for the migraine and a prescribed pain killer Migramax for when a migraine is starting to come on.. A severe migraine preceeded the fits so I take care to ward off any migraines, take the medication if I feel one coming on and go and lie down till it passes, I also feel 'twitchy' whilst having a migraine.
