   Subxone? (Addiction & Recovery board)

24th October 2003
Rob, your best bet is to work with a Dr. You will need a Dr that is approved to treat with Suboxone to get on this program and use of the drug. There are meds that will help with going CT and withdrawals, like Valium (overall help)or some other Benzo but valium is probably the best as it has a long half life, Clonidine or a catapres patch (shakes, cramps, skin crawling, etc...)which is clonidine in the form or a patch, phenergan (stomach), ambien or benedryl (sleep), vitamins and lots of fluids and exercise (lots of walking). But if you want to go the Sub route then please consult an approved Dr and you can do a search on Suboxone and find the physician locator for Sub.
