I've got bone spurs for sure in my left foot & I'm about positive that they're in both feet. I've been to a Specialist and was told that he could give me a cortisone injection and that if that didn't stop the the pain, that he would have to go in and cut the spurs out,
I just can't imagine having an injection put in my foot. How bad does this hurt ??? Should I be sure that the dr. is going to perscribe me something for pain such as Lortab or Percocet before having this procedure done ?
The reason I ask this is because I've already been to him twice with foot pain & he hasn't perscribed me anything yet.
I already take 10mg Methadone 4x a day for Spondylolisthesis, degenrative disc disease, bulging disc, and problem with SI joint(pelvis), BUT it doesn't do anything for real harsh pains associated with injections (epidurals) etc. It only works on aches and pain in my back. I've been on it for 5 years now and wish it would help my pain in my feet and arms, but it doesn't.
Thanks in advance for any replies.
