How did your appt go at Moffit? The only thing that helps with the bloating is drinking the benedryl. I will drink about 1 oz. I dont' drink any alcohol at all number one because I have a bad liver now from the chemo and also alcohol is a mast cell degranulator and can set off the masto anaphylaxis. You should stay away from that too. I am on percacet (pain med) and that is a narcotic (which can also start the mast cell degranulation so I have to take 1 oz of liquid benedryl and anti nausea pill right before I take the percocet. I was reading some of your older posts. I read about your spine problems and I don't know if I told you before but I have an inverted and slightly bulging C5. Have no idea what that is from because I never injured my back. But they found it when I had an MRI of my head and neck a few ago after the brain surgury. Anyway I also have an extra cervical rib on the right side. Cool huh. Glad you found some docs who are interested in this disease. When I go to my reg doc he always seems to have interns with him lately and they all ask me tons of questions.
