i don't have pain but its right in the middle of my stomach. when you were diagnosed with gerd you had these problems too? the best way I could describe how my stomach feels is like rocks or gritty like sand. I have very mild heartburn occassionally. I tried a pepcid ac complete chewable that I bought for my husband because he has acid reflux and it didn't help.
just like you i didn't think i had acid reflux because I dont' have acid coming up or heartburn.
I noticed that this was the second time this has happened to me after I have eaten salad for dinner. I was sitting on the couch eating the other night and I started bloating up for no reason, then it felt like something was coming up in my esophagus so I drank water to push whatever it was down but it didn't help, the feeling was still there. I was so scared I was going to choke. I kept thinking if the paramedics have to come and I do have food stuck would they be able to help me or am I going to choke to death. What a way to think huh?
I will go to the doctor as soon as I can. Have to wait until next week though. (payday).
