[QUOTE=T4T3hell;3641892]...I had two uncles who were pharmacist---back when they were doing their job---it was THEIR JOB TO MAKE SURE THE DOCTOR DIDN'T SCREW UP.....
T4T3hell,
I think the pharmacists are still doing their job,. A number of years ago I went to the doctor for a minor infection...I saw the nurse's aide, the nurse practioner, and the physician. Each one asked if I was allergic to any medication. I told EACH of them that the only medication I had a bad reaction to was penicillin, and that I was told I must never take it again. When I went to fill the rx, fortunately, the pharmacist had asked if there was any med allergies....I told him penicillin. The look on his face confirmed what I suspected...the rx the doctor had written for me was penicillin!
