This is rather long so please bear with me. On the Tuesday before Thanksgiving I woke with a terrible toothache. In the morning I went to the dentist,he took xrays and said I had a large abcess,it was in two adjoining teeth that had already had root canals. He said he had to do another root canal,which he did and gave me antibiotics. I went home but over the next two days my jaw swelled up,so I called him on the Friday after the holiday. He met me at the office and cleaned out the tooth again and suctioned out some of the puss, he said the other antibiotics obviously hadn't worked so he gave me 500 Mg of Penicillin every 6 hours for ten days. Well,that took care of the infection but left me with a case of Thush, I took Diflucan and it seemed to be getting better, but then came back, he said he would give me a liquid Nystatin when I came back or more Diflucan. I also broke out with some tiny white blemishes on my chin that seem to hurt every so often,can anyone tell me if the Thrush would not only cause the pain and other problems in my mouth but also the bumps on my chin?? This is rather mixed up,but as you can tell,I've had quite an upset.
