Moxifloxacin belongs to a class of fluoroquinolone antibiotics. Penicillin, a class of cephalosporins. Although I don't think it's related to Penicillin this is something you should ask your doctor about. It's just not worth the risk otherwise. I'm allergic to Penicillin too but for some reason, I can take Cephalexin. Your doctor can tell you if it's okay to take Moxifloxacin. Take care.

Try webmd.com and see if that gives you more info on medication. Otherwise, talk to doc or pharmacy, they can help too.
