Thank you for the information. I was looking for info on steroids because a doctor recently gave me some in an attempt to keep my hives under control (turns out I'm allergic to the penicillin I was taking).

Again, I am so sorry for your loss... I would be very angry at whoever told you to take steroids for so long.
