Quote from Kari7171:There is also Opcon A which has the same ingredients as Visine A. That's what my doctor actually recommended was the Opcon A but I told him I had bought Visine A and he said it was the same. I looked up the ingredients and they are the same thing. They are both available over the counter if you want to try them. Also I'm not sure what kind of doctor you went to but if you go to an allergist which is my next step they will have all kinds of drops you can try that are even stronger. If the visine A stops working for me that's what I am going to do. Plus they will be able to tell if it's an allergy for sure. After all that's there specialty. They can even do tests to find out exactly what it is that you are allergic to.
My eye doctor also recommended Opcon-A over Visine-A. I don't know why, but I personally feel the Opcon-A works better. But the best allergy eyedrop of all is prescription Patanol.
