Hello all, in april 2004 i woke up and my eyes felt like sand was in them, they were also bloodshot. I wore contacts 15 hours a day 7 days a week at the time. After 3 opthimolgists including one at the mass eye and ear institute and a biopsy later i was diagnosed with chronic follicular conjunctivitis caused by allergies. I have tried lotamox, alrex, patanol, elestat, optivar and natural tears all of which provide little relief. I can never wear contacts anymore. Every morning i wake up with painful red eyes which mostly clear up after i shower but still last thoghout the day. I have allergy proofed my bedroom with hepa filters and mattress casing, which did nothing. my eyes do not water or have a discharge. Any ideas? your help is much appreciated! jon
