I was on Yasmin for 5 years and loved it, but switched to the patch (which I hated) and then to Lo Ovral because my doctor was worried about me being on Yasmin for so long. Lo Ovral was okay, but I just wasn't feeling like myself on it. My boyfriend and I decided I'd go off the pill for one month and then get back on it, just to let my system have a break. My period ended on a Thursday and I had sex with him, unprotected on the the following Saturday (two days later.) I KNOW it was stupid, but honestly, I'd been on the pill for SO long I forgot that I needed to use protection. I can't believe how dumb I am and I am feeling so badly about myself. We should have been more careful and both of us should have remembered to put on a condom.

Now, it is one week and one day later and my boobs are killing me. My nipples are so sore that I can barely wear a bra! I know anything is possible, but how likely is it that I became pregnant after having sex ONE time, two days after my period?

Has anyone experienced pregnancy symptoms, like sore breasts, from going off the pill? I was on it for such a long time, I don't remember if breast tenderness was part of how I used to feel.

Please help. I'm truly scared... we're not ready for a baby. He's being awesome and supportive, and we'd love the baby so much, but it's just not good timing.
