im a newbie as well and im on lo ovral 28...i havent started yet but i wanted to address your issue of insurance....i have a plan that i only pay 10 for every prescription i fill and since im a 20yr old student that works great for when im in school and low on funds..i suggest calling your insurance company and discussing your payment options as well as talking to your gyno about a pill that fits your needs and fits your pockets...hope ive helped:)
