I am 43 years old. I have endo and irregular periods (probably perimenopause). I have been taking Lo Ovral for 3 months has still have spotting between periods but the endo pain is some better. My Dr. wants me to have a Mirena IUD inserted to help control endo and bleeding. She says I will have spotting 1 to 3 months (yuck) but after that maybe no periods at all!! Has ANYONE had good experiences with it and does it affect intercourse at all? Thanks:wave:
