I'd use a monophasic, as there is less chance you'll spot on that since the hormone levels remain constant throughout the pack. You could use Marvelon, Demulen, Nordette, Ovral...pretty much any monophasic should work. If there is a Provincial or regional health clinic near you you could try calling them and going in to see them. They usually deal with a lot of young people and get many wanting to skip periods, so they may have some more suggestions for you. I know that in most Provinces, the clinics are for each region, and usally part of that region's department of health.

I might ask my gyno about Ortho cyclen....

And yes, I've tried quite a few pill brands already and nothing seems to do anything at all. I'll be going off to university this fall and I don't want to deal with these heavy periods every single month. I've been on Ovral, Ortho Tri-cyclen, Alesse, and now Marvelon.

If u want light to no periods, why dont u try the shot? I was on the shot for almost 2 years and i never got my period... plus i wasnt at rick of forgetting a pill each day..
its not as bad as people say, but then again everyone is different.
