I'm currently taking Seasonique, but will finish this pack before my next dr. appt. The cost of Seasonique w/ my insurance is still pretty high, so I called my dr's office to ask if they could call in something for me to take for 1 month until my appt so I could talk to the dr about other pill options. I asked for a generic of some kind, and the nurse completely flipped out on me telling me how the dr "doesn't like to prescribe generics because of the horrible side effects". I told her that unless the dr was willing to pay for the brand name, then I would like a generic of something. She called something in for me ( I had no idea what it would be). After checking with the pharmacy today what the new pill is, I was doing some research about it and wondering if anyone else has taken/or is taking Ortho-Novum (generic Necon-green)? I read on another page some patient feedback comments and they were terrible, including anxiety, panic attacks, extreme mood swings, along w/ the usual weight gain, etc etc that you typically hear about w/ most bc pills. Has anyone heard anything or know from first-hand experience about this pill?
