I was on the patch for a couple of years and I loved it. However, after I heard on the news how it was 3 times more likely to cause blood clots and I all I got off of it. My gyno said that for someone my age (I'm 18) that it wasn't a problem and that is just a risk you take with any birth control so it's really just the media blowing it out of proportion. However, I am now on Necon 1/35 which is generic for Ortho-Novum and I really like it so far. My periods are only 2 days and I have no acne. It's great and I would recommend it to you so good luck!
