I have heard that Yasmin is a popular choice, and I have heard that it has less chance of breakthrough bleeding. I have been having huge troubles with BTB on my current brand, Ortho-Novum 1/35. Right now it has come on just like a full-fledged period with terrible cramps, even though I've been taking my pills perfectly. I've been on it for about 3 months now, and I am taking it continuously to skip my periods. My doctor also said that I could switch to a brand with 50 (whatever units) of estrogen , but i'm scared of taking all those extra horomones, especially since I've got a lot of other side effects. I am wondering if anyone has experience with Yasmin, and if they had less BTB on it. I know that Yasmin has slightly less estrogen than my current brand, but it has a different kind of progestin. I know a lot of people love Yasmin and a lot of people hate it. I don't want to get seriously depressed or anything (although I already am from all these problems :confused: ) I am going to the doctor tomorrow morning, but I'd appreciate it if anyone had some input for me tonight.
