Hi ladies!
I too just came off the pill. I started Ortho tri-cyclen when I was 16, and things were GREAT! But then December 2003 we had a pregnancy scare, come to find out I have several ovarian cysts that were causing the symptoms. So they switched me to Ortho-Cyclen which was to keep me form Ovulating (the reason I developed the cysts). BIG mistake!!! My periods became so messed up, and I continued to Ovulate, so then they cut me down to a 23 day cycle... I was very moody, cried for no reason, began to have menstral craps for the first time in my life, and AF was never on time!!!
My fiance' and I have decided to use NFP and condoms. My last active BCP was 8/4/2004 and I started AF on 8/5/2004. That mense was very normal. Based on my fertility friend chart I Ovulated on 8/18/2004, and I started AF yesterday... I really didn't have my normal AF signs, so I was a bit suprised when my temps dropped Sunday morning.
My biggest issue so far is that this period I'm having now is it's SOOOOO HEAVY!!! *TMI* but I'm having to change my tampon every 2 hours, where as before I could go 4. Anyone else experiense this?
I have never had acne except when AF was here. And usually on the cheeks, but now I have some really tiny pimples on my forehead... Weird!!!
