trublue,
in terms of the dosage you ask a tricky question. are you referring to the estrogen dosage, because there is a progesterone dosage in each pill as well. if in fact you are talking about estrogen, it's still difficult to compare pills strictly this way because you have the estrogen dose, but also the progestin in the pill (depending on which type and dosage in the pill) will also affect the estrogen effect (it may add to or take away from the estrogen's activity). so pretty much you have to not look at the dosage, simply, but the effective "estrogenic activity" found in the pills, which is a combination of effects from the estrogen, of course, and the progestin. from what i've researched, then, the other pills that have similar amount of estrogenic activity compared to ortho tri-cyclen (which by the way is considered to have moderate estrogenic activity) are: Ortho Cyclen, Lo-Ovral, Nordette, and Desogen/Ortho-Cept. all of these are monophasic and are all rated moderate in terms of estrogenic activity. i hope that helps!
