Hi all. I too had this problem for 3 years. I tried nearly everything to solve it. Visited several doctors without luck. Until I asked for a biopsy of some peeling lip to be taken. well a week later results were in, my lips had a fungal infection, of yeast, which was causing the condition just like that that you describe. I went on 2 prescriptions, a week of oral pills and mouth rinse, and also use a anti-fungal dandruf shampoo called Nizoral, which I use as a face wash and also on my lips, let it sit for 2 minutes before washing off. and don't swallow it of course. and thats it. Solved the problem. I know how frusterating this is and I recommend all with it to try this remedy.
