   Head and Shoulders? (Acne board)

24th October 2004
I don't think this is going to help with your acne. I think this rumor got started because it can be very drying on the skin - maybe people think drying up some of the oil will help? My husband has problems with flaking/scaling skin, and his dermatologist told him to use Nizoral (active ingredient - ketoconazole) on his skin. This has helped a lot, but the underlying problem wasn't acne. It was ringworm or some other fungus.

head and shoulders moisturizes not drys... it's for dry hair so if it made it more dryer than it's defeating the point it's advertised for.

Search this board for head and shoulders and backne/chestne. Lost of people have had success with H&S
