Sore throat. (Open to All Health Related Topics board)

11th February 2004
Hello all. thank you in advance for any input. I have had a sore throat for the past 3 months or so. It seemed to start out by just cramping up and by also having the feeling like there is a lump near the adams apple. For the most part that has gone. It know feels like my throat gets dry so it appears to swell. Not all the time though. This does not appear first thing in the morning. As long as i rest it seems to go away. My doctor has told me that I have post nasil drip. And later a secondary infection. He put me on Nasonex and some antibiotics for 10 days. It seemed to get rid of some of the symtoms but I still have (On occasion) a soar throat on one side. He has now put me back on Nasonex and told me that I still have a little drip still happening hense the sore throat. Has anyone ever experienced this and are allergies most likely the culprit? Regards M.Barrell.

I use to get that but mine was due to my sinuses.
