Migraine from allergies and sinus? (Allergies board)

17th June 2006
I have had a migraine for a week. It is bad, I am on meds the doc gave. Nothing is working to cure the migraine. I have year round allergies, stuffy nose most of the time. I have taken Allegra, Alavert D, Claritin, Zertec, and Nasacort, and some other nasal spray. Nothing really works. I have also taken Musinex D. I don't think this migraine is sinus related but I just don't know. I am in pain and need some help. I just want it to go away. The meds the doc gave subside the pain but not cure it. I have nausea, vomiting, stomach pains, constant starving feeling, sensitivity to light and sound. Does this sound like an allergy migraine to anyone who has ever had them? My usual migraines would come with little flashing stars. This one came with sharp shooting pains above my left eye a week ago. My head filled up with pain and pressure all around like it was going to explode. Someone please give me advice.
