How about an ACE inhibitor like Monopril.

Some folks report coughing with this med. I've been taking it for about 16 years and have not noticed any side effects.

A couple years ago I added a tiny dose the sulfa drug, HCTZ.

Recently tried and hated the Beta Blockers due to their side effects... and Hardly gave the Calcium Channel Blockers a try due to what I researched and read.

I just wanted to point out that monopril is an ACE inhibitor and in the same "family" as lisinopril...that is not to say you'd have the same side effects with monopril...but you may have, and you need to be aware of that fact.
